Yas Nomura
A Japanese guitarist and bassist based in Los Angeles, known for his technical and melodic style. He began playing guitar in 2007 at age 14 and later studied music theory and performance at Tokyo Jiyu Gakuin, continuing under guitarist Yuya Komoguchi. In 2012, he moved to Los Angeles to study at Musicians Institute Hollywood and graduated in 2014. He has released an album with his band, The Resonance Project.
In Japan, he’s toured as a guitarist with HYDE and singer-songwriter AI, receiving praise internationally. He also supported Mateus Asato as a bassist on his Asia tour and plays bass for progressive rock/metal band Whom Gods Destroy (WGD), actively contributing to both the Japanese and international music scenes.
