Indro Hardjodikoro is a prominent Indonesian bassist, composer, and educator, known for his work in jazz and fusion. Born in Jakarta on December 12, 1968, he began his career early with the band Halmahera and later joined groups like Simakdialog, Tohpati Ethnomission, and Tohpati Bertiga. He has collaborated with major orchestras such as Erwin Gutawa and Twilight Orchestra. Since releasing his first solo album *Feels Free* in 2010, Indro has produced over 10 albums and performed globally in countries like Russia, USA, and Australia. He is also part of Oxytron, a group exploring healing “metafact music.” As an educator, Indro has mentored many notable Indonesian bassists. He is endorsed by Cort, Markbass, and D’Addario.
