About Christal Kuna
Christal is a versatile drummer from Singapore whose rhythmic journey began with classical percussion in her high school concert band before shifting to focus on the drum kit. She plays and writes a diverse array of genres, from church worship music to funk, and progressive metal.
Passionate about music education, Christal has spent years mentoring musicians and sharing drumming knowledge. She now teaches private lessons and creates educational drum content online, helping drummers refine their skills and techniques. She has also shared her expertise with the local drum community through drum clinics and worship drumming workshops.
Currently, Christal drums for her church as well as local symphonic metal band Sangriento, which released its second full-length concept album-cum-comic in 2025.
