Kyohyung Lee
Kyohyung Lee is a rock/metal guitarist and vocalist, active in the hard rock band Flying Dog and the Irish punk band Daddy O’Radio. He is also the leader of the hard rock crew Malt Squad, a Korean endorser of Thermion pedals, and is active as a content creator and actor.
Since debuting in his teens with the thrash metal band Sahon, he has played in numerous metal bands such as Efreet, WON, Jihad, SEED, Down Hell, Erehon, and Black Syndrome, and has participated in many projects as a session guitarist. His work also extends to being the music director for dance team ‘곧ㅅ(Gott)’ and composing for films.
On YouTube and social media, he is known as content creator called “Metal Ajusshi” and actively engages with audiences as an actor. Over the years, he has endorsed brands such as D’Addario, Hughes & Kettner, Edwards, and Dexter, and has been a reviewer for the popular gear channel Buzzbee Gear Times.
After years of experience, his go-to strings are D’Addario XTE1046 and 0942, while he also uses EXL110 and 120 for electric guitars, and XSAPB1253 for acoustic guitar recordings to achieve the best tone.
이교형은 락/메탈 기타리스트이자 보컬리스트로, 하드락 밴드 ‘플라잉독’과 아이리시 펑크 밴드 ‘데디오레디오’에서 활동하고 있습니다. 그는 하드락 크루 ‘Malt Squad’의 대표이자, 이펙터 브랜드 Thermion의 한국 엔도서로도 활약하며, 무대 안팎에서 폭넓은 음악 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.
10대 시절 스레쉬메탈 밴드 ‘사혼’으로 데뷔한 뒤 ‘Efreet’, ‘WON’ 등 다양한 메탈 밴드를 거쳤으며, ‘이현석밴드’, ‘지하드’, ‘SEED’, ‘Down Hell’, ‘에레혼’, ‘블랙신드롬’ 등의 한국 밴드에서 세션 및 피쳐링으로 참여했습니다. 밴드 활동을 넘어 무용팀 ‘곧ㅅ’의 음악감독 맟 다수 영화의 음악 작업을 맡으며 활동 영역을 넓혀왔습니다.
또한 유튜브와 SNS에서는 ‘메탈아저씨’라는 이름으로 활발히 활동 중인 콘텐츠 크리에이터이며, 영화 배우로서도 대중과 만나고 있습니다.
이런 다채로운 행보 속에서 그는 D’Addario를 비롯해 Hughes & Kettner, Edwards, Dexter 등 여러 브랜드의 엔도서로 활동했고, 한국 유명 악기 리뷰 채널인 ‘Buzzbee GearTimes’의 주요 리뷰어로도 잘 알려져 있습니다.
오랜 기간 다양한 경험을 통해 자신만의 음악관을 구축해온 그는 가장 좋은 기타줄로 D’Addario XTE1046과 0942를 꼽아 가장 즐겨 사용하며, 녹음 시에는 일렉기타에 EXL110과120, 어쿠스틱 기타에서는 XSAPB1253을 사용해 최상의 톤을 구현하고 있습니다.
