I've been playing D'Addario strings ever since I first started classical guitar.

Dr. Capital

Dr. Capital is a singer-songwriter, YouTuber, and Doctor of Music known for his expressive guitar playing, healing voice, and signature style blending Brazilian, rock, jazz, and electronic influences. Originally from Oregon, USA, he now lives in Osaka, Japan. He has released several albums, including “Floats on Flat Tires” (2011), “You Are Love” (2017, with Angela Aki), “School Bus” (2018), and new singles in 2024. As an educator, he has taught at USC and UNT, and runs "Dr. Capital’s J-POP Cover Class" on YouTube. A frequent media guest, he has appeared on TV, radio (FM Tokyo, MBS), and authored “The Secret of Hit Song Rhythms”. He also contributes to Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Japanese high school music textbooks.
