About Rio Alief
Rio Alief (Rio Alief Radhanta), born in Banjarmasin, Indonesia, on February 17, 1992, is an acclaimed Indonesian drummer, songwriter, and music producer. He began playing drums at a young age and built his reputation as one of the country’s most versatile session musicians, performing with renowned artists including Agnez Mo, Afgan, Andien, Sammy Simorangkir, and many others. In 2015, after a competitive audition process, Rio became the additional drummer for NOAH, one of Indonesia’s most successful rock bands, where his powerful yet dynamic playing has become an essential part of the band’s live performances. Beyond touring and recording, Rio is actively involved in music production and education, inspiring a new generation of drummers with his technical precision, musicality and passion for continuous innovation.
