Imnainla Jamir, an Indian guitarist and performer from Nagaland, is renowned as the first female Indian artist endorsed by IBANEZ. She serves as a Global Ambassador for Masterpeace’s COOL Leaders program and a SHURE Influencer, advocating for music, creativity, and youth-driven impact.
Recognized for her expressive and dynamic playing style, Jamir blends modern rock influences with melodic sensitivity, creating a powerful and emotionally engaging sound. A self-taught musician, she honed her craft through independent learning, live performances, and artistic exploration. Her electric guitar rendition of the Indian National Anthem at the Hornbill Festival went viral, establishing her as a standout instrumentalist in the Indian music scene.
Jamir has been part of several high-profile projects, including the “PARX – I Care About You” music video, which has garnered over 2 million views on YouTube, and “Now or Never,” a project by the Task Force for Music and Arts, Government of Nagaland, supported by Dolby Atmos. She also worked on the ‘Unstoppable 21 - Times of India Music video Project’.
