Er Chow Kiat is a Singaporean drummer, music educator, entrepreneur, and Guinness World Record holder recognised for his contributions to contemporary drumming and music education. He is the founder of Drum Tutor and has established an accomplished career as a touring, recording, and session drummer, performing with internationally renowned artists including Angela Zhang, Paul Wong (Beyond), Mayday's Monster, JJ Lin, and Mateus Asato. He was awarded the Musicians Institute Full Ride Scholarship in 2012 and graduated from the Musicians Institute with the Outstanding Student Award. A recipient of the prestigious SkillsFuture Fellowship presented by Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Chow Kiat is currently pursuing a Master's in Music Leadership at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. Through his work as a performer, educator, and mentor, he continues to inspire musicians while advancing contemporary drumming and music education in Singapore and beyond.
