Alisa Shafira

Alisa Shafira is an Indonesian guitarist, violinist, and arranger. Her performances blend fingerstyle with percussive influences, classical, contemporary, and acoustic-folk. She discovered guitar autodidactically while pursuing violin studies, later earning a pre-conservatory diploma with high honors. Drawing from her violin background, she has adapted her skills across guitar, orchestra, and diverse projects in contemporary music. Notably, Alisa is a gold medalist in the women’s category of national solo guitar competition held by Indonesia’s Ministry of Culture. She is known for coming from a non-musical environment and main career, yet delivering musical excellence through performances at embassies, educational events, and community engagements. Featured in national and international media, her works have gained millions of views online. She will soon release acoustic-folk originals and has been relying on D’Addario strings since in high school for tones that support her music.

"D'Addario's strings touch and sustain makes me easier to tell stories through my melodies, they feel smooth and comfy through my fingers. For me it's not just about the strings, it's about the confidence I feel with every note I play."
